Analyst (Renewable Energy) – Immediate Vacancy
GreenPower is seeking to appoint an experienced and skilled Analyst whose overall objective is to optimise the energy yield from operational wind, hydro and solar sites. The Analyst will have overall responsibility for site assessments, energy yield forecasts and monitoring & analysing operational performance.
The post offers the successful applicant a great opportunity to lead a key area of the business. The Analyst will be supported by a Data Manager.
The job will involve:
- Energy Yield Assessments
- Availability Warranty, Power Curve & Noise warranty checks;
- Regular project performance monitoring, including analysis of yield, downtime, causes of lost energy, defects, curtailment and constraints;
- Checking and approving OEM performance reports;
- Evaluation of storage projects, including co-located with generation projects;
- Developing high quality reporting formats, automated where possible and including regular dashboard reports;
- Developing analysis techniques to support asset management and operations.
Salary is dependent on skills and experience
A Degree or Masters qualification in Energy / Engineering related disciplines is required

Data Manager – Immediate Vacancy
GreenPower are seeking to appoint an experienced Data Manager to take control of and be responsible for data collection and data management for our portfolio of projects from development through to operations.
All data collected needs to be of a high quality and integrity in order to support the business needs in terms of performance analysis, yield predictions, defect monitoring and reporting.
The Data Manager will manage data sets collected from a wide range of sources, from turbine OEM SCADA, through PC based logging and remote stand-alone data loggers. This will also involve supporting project managers on deployment of on-site communications networks and protocols
The successful candidate will be:-
- a confident user of Windows based IT systems including Excel spread sheets;
- able to handle large data bases;
- have Programming Skills, including Python (essential);
- be able to undertake Statistical Analysis;
- have experience of data collection systems.
A qualification in Data Programming or IT (Software Engineer) is required.
Salary – dependent on qualifications, skills and experience
