Carraig Gheal Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund Now Open for Applications

The next funding round of the Carraig Gheal Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund main grant scheme is now open for applications from May 2017 until 31st July 2017.

In the last round of funding the Steering Group approved 13 projects including a replacement boat shed for the Dalavich Improvement Group, the restoration of the beautiful Clan stalls in St Conan’s Kirk and the replacement of the outdated heating system at Taynuilt Village Hall.

The fund receives money from the Carraig Gheal Wind Farm developer GreenPower (Carraig Gheal) Ltd which is divided between two schemes; a micro grant scheme with awards of grants up to £250 available to individuals, constituted and non-constituted groups and the main grant scheme with awards of up to £7,000 available to constituted groups only. Completed applications must be received by 31st July 2017.
