Independent Scottish based renewable energy company GreenPower are delighted to be a sponsor of this year’s Royal National Mòd.
To be hosted in Oban, The Mod is Scotland’s premier celebration of the Gaelic language, culture and heritage.
GreenPower has had a long association with this part of Argyll and Bute.
One of our earliest wind farms, the 20 turbine Carraig Gheal Wind Farm above Loch Awe, has been operating for over 10 years. During that time, it has supplied electricity to an estimated 47, 000 Scottish homes and saves approximately 65,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. Our Community Benefit Fund has also contributed over £580,00 towards local projects.
