The Dalmally Show is a key event in the agricultural calendar in north Argyll and as sponsors of the event and operators of the local Carraig Gheal Wind Farm, GreenPower enjoyed the opportunity to host a stand at this year’s event. The stand included a time lapse video of the construction of Carraig Gheal Wind Farm as well as information banners presenting our recently consented Argyll Hydrogen Hub at Glenshellach in Oban.
Hydrogen was a pertinent talking point as visitors showed a keen interest in its versatile application in the heavy goods transport and agricultural industries. The local MSP Jenni Minto, councillors, local workers at the Cruachan Pumped Hydro scheme, local farmers and visitors from far and wide all showed interest and many good conversations were had about climate change and renewable energy.
