Birdies for GreenPower at the Nordex Charity Golf Day

A team of GreenPower staff attended the inaugural Nordex charity golf day, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and Irish Cancer Society. The team enjoyed much of the day in sunshine but with some occasional patches of ‘typically Scottish’ weather. The funds raised were split 50:50 between the charities. GreenPower donated £300 with the Nordex event raising £4,100 in total.

The GreenPower team made up of Paul Minto, Nick Forgan, Blair Buckie and Eddie Narbett, competed strongly – dovetailing effectively to end with a final net score of 5 under par. Unfortunately, this was not enough to bring home any silverware, but the team left the course with smiles of their faces, some questionable tan lines and a few less balls than they set out with.
