GreenPower proud to continue sponsorship at Dalmally Agricultural Show 2026

On Saturday 5th September, GreenPower hosted a tent at the annual Dalmally Agricultural Show. Located around the old village shinty field, this was another well-attended year of the show, which GreenPower has now sponsored for five years. Visitors at the show were spoilt for choice on entertainment, with the traditional core focus of judging of livestock including beef cattle, sheep and poultry, complimented by dog shows, competitions for baking, preserves and flower arranging, and the junior shinty tournament, to name but a few.
GreenPower’s development team were in attendance to run an interactive and challenging quiz on renewable energy and climate change, with prizes on offer to all participants: ‘It was great to attend the Dalmally show, meet people and provide an update on the progress of the Barachander Wind Farm project, as well as showcasing the Carraig Gheal Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund. The Fund invites applications from the five community council areas local to the wind farm, including Glenorchy and Innishail where the show was held. Thanks to everyone who came and visited the tent, we look forward to returning next year!’ – Nick Fennell, Development Manager.
