Hoping the Sun Shines for GreenPower

I am delighted to announce GreenPower has been shortlisted for ‘The Alan Clark Award for Local/Community Energy’ at this year’s Solar & Storage Live UK event in Birmingham. Our nomination follows the installation of a roof mounted solar installation at the Dunblane Community Centre, in Scotland.

The cost of the installation was met by GreenPower and presented as a gift to the Dunblane Centre to help meet the ongoing maintenance costs of the Centre. This much valued Community space was built from funds donated to the Community from around the world after the tragedy at Dunblane Primary School in 1996.

Matt Shaw, Director, Lynx Sustainable Solutions who installed the panels at cost price said, “it was a lovely project to be involved with, and we are delighted that GreenPower has been shortlisted for the ‘Local/Community Energy’ Award”
