Last month, GreenPower staff member, Eddie Narbett, competed for Great Britain at the European Orienteering Championships in Belgium and the World Cup Orienteering Final in Switzerland. GreenPower were pleased to support Eddie during these events and were thrilled to see him achieve a 5th place in the relay event.
“I was grateful to be given the opportunity to compete for my country against the best in the world. It was inspiring to be part of a team which included medal winner, Grace Molloy, showing that British athletes can mix it with the best Scandinavian nations. Having GreenPower by my side played a critical role in allowing me to prepare for the competition. It can often be a challenge to balance work and training, but it always helps to be part of a company that shows such loyal support to its staff members both in work and outside of work.”
Eddie will be targeting the World Orienteering Championships next year, with the hope to improve on his results from this year.
