GreenPower has just finished constructing an EWT 500kW turbine at Fordoun near Laurencekirk and as of yesterday this has been generating electricity which is being exported to the National Grid. The construction from start to finish only took 8 weeks.

Millenderdale Planning Application Submitted
GreenPower is pleased to confirm that a planning application has been lodged with South Ayrshire Council for a wind farm near Lendalfoot, South Ayrshire. Further details of the application including the Environmental Statement can be found on the Millenderdale project page here.
Carraig Gheal Wind Farm Fund Consultation Summary
Following the consultation deadline a summary of responses was produced and circulated which can be downloaded here. GreenPower remains committed to delivering the fund and has been reviewing the options for administration in light of comments made. GreenPower is looking forward to establishing an operational fund with communities in early 2014.
Carie Hydro Electric Scheme Approved
