Wind turbine maintenance in action at Carraig Gheal Wind Farm

Keeping a close eye on wind turbine performance and regular maintenance is important to the GreenPower Operations Team. Their proactive approach ensures our turbines continue to perform efficiently throughout their operational life — and potentially beyond. In October, ahead of the winter season and the windiest period of the year, one of our turbine’s blade bearings showing early signs of distress was successfully replaced and the CEO Rob Forrest was present to see the replacement works in action and meet the teams behind the project.

“ From planning to precision engineering, it takes real teamwork to keep a wind farm producing.

“It was a fantastic collaboration between Siemens Energy, Forsyth of Denny, Forestry Land Scotland, Igne, ALMcCrae, WallaceDS, and our GreenPower team — all showcasing the passion and expertise driving Scotland’s renewable energy future. I am personally very proud to be part of delivering the clean, green energy we all need”
