GreenPower, the operator and developer of local wind farm Carraig Gheal, enjoyed hosting 19 cub scouts from the 1st Argyll (Lorn) Scout Group last week. (11th September)
George Baxter, Director of Development at GreenPower, said: “We were delighted to host a visit of the 1st Argyll Scout Group. They were so curious and enthusiastic to learn – it was a very enjoyable visit.”
Katy Pollock, Scout leader said: “Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Carraig Gheal wind farm and would like to thank GreenPower for making us so welcome and giving up their time to show us round. For the 19 Cubs and Scouts that attended this trip goes towards their Environmental Conservation badge.”
