One of our Elite Privateer sponsored riders, George, was racing in the IXS Downhill Series race in Bulgaria last weekend. After a run of some bad luck at the start of the season – some mechanical problems etc. – George had a seemless, problem free weekend and his speed and outright skill showed through – George was fastest in qualifying and then took the win! He was riding under the GreenPower name so we got some great coverage and George says we have a load of new fans over there – we just need to find some projects in Bulgaria now!
Next weekend (6/7 July) both George and Mikayla will be racing in Andorra in the next round of the World Cup series. Rob Forrest, CEO of GreenPower, will be flying down to watch the race and lend some moral support.
